The 24th Annual Certified Logging Professional Banquet took place on December 5 at Jeff’s Catering in Brewer.  Logger of the Year awards, sponsored by Huber Resources, were made to loggers in three categories, Conventional, Mechanical and Contractor/Supervisor.  Each received a check for $1,000, a monogrammed jacket and an engraved plaque.  They also will be featured in a ½ page newspaper ad in the Bangor Daily News the weekend of January 24.  83 loggers who completed training during 2014 received certificates, bringing the number of CLP's trained since 1991 to over 6,200.
